Raw Form was started in 2010. It all started on a weekend, when the overwhelming call to create something rather than do our chores, took hold. The materials were all there; Carey had plenty of metal lying around from past projects. So we took a trip up North to collect more found materials, and it began … 

 

It made sense Carey being an ornamental welder and owner of Merrill’s Metal Works, and me an interior designer. Raw Form gave us an outlet from the day-to-day work, where we could enjoy making whatever it was we were passionate about. We started making succulent gardens and wine racks, using reclaimed metal from past projects. All scrap metal that was otherwise just taking up space. Then we threw in driftwood, stones, and shells collected from Northern California beaches. Now our portfolio consists of many things to decorate your indoor/outdoor space; from garden art, to framed pieces incorporating reclaimed redwood from an old shed that was taken down in Boulder Creek. Raw Form also offers custom pieces that fit your need for art!
